Terms

LAST UPDATED · 31 OCTOBER 2026

These terms have two parts. Part 1 covers your use of the k-nex.com website. Part 2 covers buying and using our desktop app NexMove. Our Refund Policy is part of Part 2.

Who we are

K-NEX is run by Tim Kim, trading as K-NEX, in the United Kingdom. Contact: hello@k-nex.com.

Where this site links to other websites, we provide those links for your information only. We are not responsible for their content.

Our responsibility for the website

We work to keep the information on this site accurate, but it is provided for general information only and is not professional advice. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website.

Part 2 · Buying and using NexMove

NexMove is a Windows app that copies your files on your own computer from Dropbox to Google Drive, from Dropbox to OneDrive, or from OneDrive to Google Drive, checks them, and helps you cancel or downgrade the plan you are leaving. This part applies when you use NexMove, including the free test copy, and when you buy a licence.

Who sells it to you

Our online reseller Lemon Squeezy, LLC sells NexMove to you as the Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy takes your payment, charges any VAT or sales tax, and sends your receipt and licence key. Its Buyer Terms also apply to the purchase. The licence to use NexMove comes from K-NEX, on the terms below. For any question about NexMove, including refunds, contact us first at hello@k-nex.com.

Your right to cancel

UK law normally gives you 14 days to cancel a purchase made online. For digital content like NexMove, that right ends once you start using it, but only if you agreed to that first.

This does not affect our Refund Policy, which still applies after you start using NexMove, or your other legal rights.

Your licence

When you buy NexMove, K-NEX gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use it, which does not expire:

If you get a refund, your licence ends and your key stops working. Files NexMove has already copied stay where it copied them.

What NexMove does not do

Your accounts and files

Your rights if something goes wrong

If you are a consumer, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 says NexMove must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If it is not, you are entitled to a repair or replacement, or in some cases a refund. On top of that, our Refund Policy gives you your money back if NexMove does not work for you. For more about your rights, see Citizens Advice.

If NexMove damages a device or digital content belonging to you because we did not use reasonable care and skill, we will either repair the damage or pay you compensation. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or for problems caused by your Dropbox, Microsoft or Google account, your computer or your internet connection.

If you use NexMove for your business, we are not liable for loss of profit, business or data, and our total liability to you is limited to the price you paid.

For both parts

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded under English law.

Your privacy

How we handle your personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. A change does not affect a purchase you have already made.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales, although if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
